Jennylyn, Patrick madly in love
ni Rowena Agilada

NAG-SURPRISE visit si Jennylyn Mercado kay Patrick Garcia sa last taping day nito sa “Super Twins” last Thursday (May 17) somewhere in Sta. Ana, Manila.

Much as she wanted to join him, hindi pwede dahil may mga commitments siya, ani Jen. She turned 20 last May 15 at sa set (Daranak Falls, Tanay) ng ginagawa niyang movie, "Tiyanak" nag-celebrate.

Jennylyn & Patrck
Basta

Last taping day ni Patrick Garcia sa Super Twins noong Huwebes at kahit walang eksena, present sa set ang girlfriend niyang si Jennylyn Mercado.

Sabi ng actress, PA siya ng boyfriend that time, as in, taga-gising.

Alam na namin ang mangyayari sa character ni Patrick as Billy at character ni Jen as Super S, pero bawal i-preempt dahil June 1 pa ang ending ng show.

Umalis kahapon si Patrick with his dad for a 10-day cruise, na magsisimula sa Vancouver, Canada, at magtatapos sa Alaska.

First time nilang magkakalayo nang matagal mula nang magkarelasyon eight months ago.

Patrick is 25 years old at 20 naman si Jen.

Jennylyn Mercado on Magpakailanman tonight

Noel Asinas

If in the field of Philippine Sports Efren 'Bata' Reyes is known as billiard King, Manny Pacquiao is the Pambansang Kamao, Lydia de Vega is the Sprint Superstar then Elma Muros who to date wa able to reap 460 medals from local and foreign competitions, is tagged as the Long Jump Queen and Iron Woman.

She is, indeed, the country's pride bringing home 15 gold medals from the SEA Games from 1981 to 2001. Born of poor parents, she was able to go to school as a scholar as she excelled in track and field. Love of the sport, faith in God and support from her family brought her fame and financial rewards.
Elma never complained of the long hours, days, weeks and months of training before a competition."I am always positive that somebody up there will help me emerge as champion," says shewho must be emulated by poor people whose misfortune leads them to question the Almighty's healing and loving power.MKM is telecast after GMA-7's telenovelas.

Jennylyn, nag-Donate ng siyam na Wheelchair

SUNTOK SA BUWAN Ni Emy Abuan-Bautista

Looking Forward
Article posted May 11, 2007

Saying goodbye to her teenage years, Jennylyn Mercado is now ready
to face what life has to offer. As she turns 20, Jen is definitely
no longer a little girl. Text by Loretta G. Ramirez. Photos by Mitch
S. Mauricio.

She stresses that she is no different from her teenage self, but
those around Jennylyn have witnessed how she has matured into a
remarkable young lady.

Celebrating her special day in Golden Acres and Tahanang Walang
Hagdanan, Jen opts to share her blessings with our less fortunate
brothers and sisters. She says that she has never liked celebrating
her birthday with a party, and has religiously concentrated in doing
charity work every year come May 15.

She however concedes to giving herself a present, this year, a short
vacation in Boracay.

Boracay ng ganito yung panahon," she says in jest.

She, however says, that she will be going with friends and not with
her boyfriend, Patrick Garcia. "Patrick is going to Alaska, for 10
days with his dad so friends lang (ang kasama ko)," shares Jen.
